And what does “TSUBO” mean?
In the Japanese tradition, a tsubo is a pressure point through which the Shiatsu therapist works on the energy flow of the patient’s body.
The work with tsubos and the healing process brought on by it are closely connected to the heart: both that of the therapist and that of the patient. This insight is fundamental in modern Shiatsu in the style of Shizuto Masunaga (1925-1981), and is also central to my work.
Thus, for me, TSUBO and the finger print logo sum up my work as a Shiatsu therapist and serve as the name of my clinic.
