Terms and Conditions

Scope of application

The General Terms and Conditions apply to all business transactions of Fabian Winiger of TSUBO Praxis für Shiatsu in Root, Lucerne (hereinafter referred to as ‘Therapist’). They apply for the duration of the business relationship. These terms and conditions are deemed to have been accepted upon appointment booking. Deviations from these terms and conditions must be agreed in writing in advance.

Obligation to co-operate

Shiatsu is based on co-operation and mutual trust. During a Shiatsu treatment, the client is required to co-operate actively and responsibly. The therapist supports the client throughout the process. Success cannot be guaranteed.

Scope and conditions of therapy

The scope of the therapy and the detailed objectives are set out separately. At the beginning of the therapy, the therapist clarifies the respective expectations of the therapy with the client.
The rate is CHF 130.00 per hour. It is the client’s responsibility to clarify whether and how much the health insurance will cover. Whether there is a claim under supplementary insurance can be determined by quoting the ZSR number V566064.
Invoices are usually issued at the end of the month or after the service has been provided, payable within 30 days.

Cancellation

An appointment can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. After this time, the full fee is due. Rescheduling is possible free of charge.

Confidentiality

The therapist is bound to confidentiality. The therapist undertakes to maintain unlimited confidentiality towards third parties with regard to all operational, business and private matters of the client that become known in the course of therapy, even after the end of a therapy.

Liability

An anamnesis (health questions) is taken during the initial treatment. The client is obliged to answer the questions truthfully. The client shall provide information about any changes in health without being asked to do so during each subsequent treatment. Treatments are carried out according to current and up-to-date knowledge, experience, methods and techniques. Treatments are at the client’s own risk. The treatments do not contain any promises of healing and in no way replace visits to the doctor.

Place of jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction is Lucerne. Swiss law applies.
